Just found this: How the CBC covered it. The anchor who makes the dramatic announcement about JFK's death is someone named Lamont Tilden. Can't say I've ever heard of him, but he helped make history that day.

While I'm sure all the networks will do something because it's the 60th (and media love even numbers) the CBS piece is actually embedded in the webpage. It's really from the 50th anniversary but they've updated it slightly for the next decade since not much has changed in the interim years. You should be able to watch their report by clicking the link.
And thanks for the note about Lamont Tilden. It's the first time I've heard of him, and I'm glad to know you think he was good on air. Your praise means a lot in my eyes, but I must have been too young (or watching Uncle Walter) because I can honestly say I've never heard of him.
