If this is the same Canadian Radio News run by Dan Sys that was on Facebook for many years, he's abandoned that platform over the censorship of Canadian stories by Meta.
You can now find CRN at radiowest.ca, sort of the SOWNY Board of the west coast. Definitely worth a visit to check it out, even if you're not familiar with radio out west. A wonderful site with some great people.
As for the Boardhost version, I wasn't even aware there was one.

I kept stopping by that forum and seeing if ANYTHING was posted. Went for about a year with no activity.
I asked about it last September here on SOWNY and I was met with the sound of crickets, so when I saw it went offline last month, I didn't think anyone was interested.

I was interested in an update on that rumour Brian started about a third sports source...this was posted before Bell shut down several AM stations.
I only lurked there. I didn't post anything.

it's buried on the RadioWest site. But very hard to find postings. The site is shambolic with a lead strand called "what's it going to take?". Perhaps a better organized website for starters. Probably not worth the time or effort to search out the infrequent Canadian Radio News postings. Pity.

I offer a couple of suggestions that may help find the Canadian Radio News content more conveniently -
to access the Radio News section
Canadian Radio News threads are prefaced by the initials "CRN" in the thread title/headline
A list of the most recent RadioWest posts (last 72 hours or so) is posted here -

Paul Jeffries is right. Nothing to do with Dan Sys.
Some guy named Brian Cook started something new under the same name.
Maybe that's why his board is now gone.
He also set up a vote on the Quad Cities board.
It shows 69% support for him if he could take over the Quad Cities board:

OK, I see where my confusion came from. Yes, I remember when Brian451 posted that now, but when I hear about "Canadian Radio News" the longtime Dan Sys version is the one I think of. I wish him luck on Radio West, although that forum doesn't seem to be the best venue for what he did on Facebook. But he provides a valuable service and I hope it continues.

Hey everyone. Yes I did shut down the site. I had talked to Dan and he was ok with the name. But I shut it down as most people stoped going. Very few posts. Very little interaction.
But I have taken over a website. I am the new webmaster at nwbroadcasters.com
See you there

Okay, but the Quad Cities board requested you @ 69% in favour...it's too bad you won't be running that board.

I would totally run the quad cities board but the owner of the site won't allow someone to take over. I had enquired and he said he wasn't ready to give up control yet

Speaking of Canadian Radio News, the RadioWest.ca site has an interesting feature provided by Dan Sys. About once per week they feature a market profile, and this week it is beautiful Vancouver. Lots of radio, but less two AM stations, CKTS 1040 and CFTE (CFUN) 1410 shut down by Bell earlier this year.
