It's just what the world needs - another cable network from another of Oprah Winfrey's former stars. Dr. Phil, who I always found cloying and annoying, is now going to be able to do that 24 hours a day, after announcing the creation of his own cable network.
He'll have his own nightly show on the channel when it launches, but what else will fill all that time seven days a week is yet to be seen. (Maybe reruns of "Bull," the now cancelled CBS series, which he created and based on himself?) It's not clear if the station will be available on Canadian cable.

Dr. Phil is a pill.

Oprah might have good intentions, but her promotion of Dr Phil (not a doctor) and Dr Oz (a crooked doctor) have been disasters. Add to that the phony guy she promoted who turned out to be a fake author and other weird endeavors comprises a career of her having personal phenomenal success but then terribly poor judgment in her choice of who to anoint with her royal jelly.
The more I see about Oprah and her entourage of sycophants and phony "discoveries" the more I can be persuaded (even as an atheist)
that there really is a pact you can make with the devil, like Faust.
(my personal opinion) Drake being another example.
Is it just me but is he the one of the most profoundly untalented so-called entertainers on the planet?
Also headed to Faustian Hell.
