    Thought  I would mention the passing of actor Richard Roundtree, Mr. Roundtree who starred in the motion picture Shaft some 52 years ago  was 81.

    He was still a bad mother...

    LOL!! That was fun to type!

    The great Isaac Hayes shot to stardom with his recording of the Theme from Shaft produced at the Stax studio in Memphis TN.

    There's a fabulous 12 minute & 21 second version of the song on YouTube - a tune that all over the radio in 1971

    Rest in peace Mr. Roundtree

    Once I got lost in Indianapolis and wandered into an Issac Hayes show, making it to the front just in time for his mind blowing Theme from Shaft encore.    I still get chills up my spine thinking about it.  


    RIP Richard Roundtree (and Issac Hayes).
