Strike Stricken Season Leads CBS To Keep Airing This Paramount+ Show

An exclusive streaming property isn't quite so exclusive anymore. CBS has confirmed that after getting decent ratings for the Paramount+ series "Yellowstone's" first season, it will be following it immediately with season two. The show was meant to fill holes during the actors' and writers' strikes in the U.S. and was formerly a big (and exclusive) attraction on its streaming service.

But with the network in dire straits for "new" programming and the good numbers the show has received, they've decided to immediately follow the first season with the second one. The season one finale airs on Oct. 22nd, and season two begins the following week in the same time slot, Sunday nights at 9 PM (or whenever the NFL game ends.)

Now if they could just bring back more than two episodes of that Star Trek spin-off it aired earlier this season.
