Art Bell’s radio return has its biggest blowtorch in Toronto.

Newstalk 1010 is the only major market station picking up the radio host’s new paranormal-themed show, Midnight in the Desert, upon its debut tonight. Bell has been on and off the air for the past 15 years since his initial retirement from the overnight Coast to Coast AM in 2000—which Bell partly blamed on Toronto’s own Michael Coren opening a morning show with the words "I am Art Bell and I molest little children," based on a false accusation that was later resolved in court with an apology and retraction.
