CTV2 Barrie news reporter Ian Duffy was on hand in the Canadian Tire lot and interviewed a young fellow who had been checked out
Having passed the pronunciation test, Ian Duffy qualifies for a complimentary burger & fries at the Dard
During my conversation with Ian, I asked about the possible relation to the former infamous Mike, but there is no connection. Ian did lament he is worried for his future as an employee of CTV, a division of Bell media, and the rumored further decimation of the local news rooms across the nation.

I've said Wah SAY-Ga beach since childhood. Doesn't make it right. I interviewed the Mayor of the city, and he set me straight. He said it is indeed WAH-SAW-Ga beach. Why? Because it's part of Nottawasaga Bay. Not NottawawasSAYga Bay.

Was-saw-ga Beach. Because it's part of Nottawasaga Bay. The Mayor of Wasaga Beach straightened me out on that one; in an interview.

Who says he's right? I was around long before he was, and I say it's wah-SAY-ga. He's just a pup. Where did he get his expertise?

BTW, I have no idea what I'm doing in a Steve Ryan thread, I've never heard of him.
