5pm on Tuesday September 12, where is CityNews?
All that seems to be airing is CityNews Channel on City TV, repeating older news over and over.
Also missing: Commercials!!!

I'm trying to figure out what the hell you're watching. What the hell is Citynews Channel? I remember that shut down in 2013.

The CityNews Toronto channel airs on Rogers Ignite 100.
Currently it is also airing on City TV. It is not supposed to.
FIXED: @ 6PM.
I hope this means I'll finally see some commercials. Something has to pay for all this news and information.

Online!
Is it possible the bean counters at Rogers put the kibosh on the 5 PM show as a cost cutting measure? The logic being, 'we're doing this anyway, why not just show it and save some money?', similar to what CTV does with CP24?
Not saying that's what happened but knowing this company, I would not put it past them. I guess the answer will come on Wednesday at 5 PM.
By the way, CityNews Channel is available on the web 24/7 here.
Global also has one, a national feed, and it can be seen here.

They're also available to Amazon Prime Video subscribers.

I've subscribed to CityTV+ on Prime Video. Never been able to "find" CityNews feed on their Prime TV channel. I've cancelled my CityTV+ subscription effective later this month. Too bad they don't provide reasonable promotional info on their website if it is actually up and running on Prime.

It's under "Live TV", which is at the top of the screen if you're watching on a computer, or if you're watching on your smart TV, select the little TV icon with the rabbit ears on the left side of the screen.
These channels are available to all Prime Video subscribers and don't require a subscription to Citytv+.

Global has 15 feeds. You can find them at the bottom of this page.

They had audio problems in the first hour (5pm newscast) also.
Here's a screen shot of CityNews repeating itself over and over and over again @ 5PM on City TV.
That seemed to fix itself but only to air news from earlier in the day.
They DID manage to fix the problem so that Richard could do his business news LATE @ 5:40 but NO ADS aired until after 6PM.
(except that business news is brought to you by Bad Boy, but just a quick blurb-no actual ad)
