CBC Pres. Catherine Tait Grilled On Own Network's "Sunday Magazine"

It could have been a puff piece and I was kind of expecting one. But I was pleasantly surprised to learn it wasn't.

Good for Sunday Magazine host Piya Chattopadhyay to get into the trenches with her and pull no punches in a half hour interview about everything from the CBC's mandate and relevance, Bill C-18 and the Conservatives' threats to defund the network altogether.

There were a lot of tough questions. I'm not so sure I liked the answers, but at least the questions were asked.

Scroll down to hear it here.

The CBC has journalistic integrity.  This seems to continually surprise conservatives.
It isn't the left wing equivalent to the National Post or Toronto Sun.  It holds both sides to account.
