Does Anyone Remember This Broadcaster/Journalist?
I saw this obituary in the Toronto Star on Saturday and for the life of me, I have no memory of this woman. But she was quite accomplished.
Her name was Kathryn Jill Rigby and the obit says she worked for the CBC, CFTO in Canada and ABC in the U.S., apparently going under the name "Jill Rigby." She also spent 15 years as the main travel writer for the Toronto Sun.
I usually recall the names of people who were in local TV news, but sadly, I have no memory of her. Does anyone here recall her on air work? Either way, R.I.P. to a one-time broadcast veteran.

Thanks for posting this. I remember her as Jill Rigby who wrote a Travel column for the Toronto Sun. In fact, I went on one of those "press junkets" with her to San Francisco back in the day . Never knew what happened to her. She was a nice person. R.I.P.
