Sauga960's Marc Patrone Signs Off Early To Flee Hurricane

Sometimes you turn on a show at just the right moment to find something you didn't expect. And that's how I heard Sauga960's bizarre host, Marc Patrone, sign off early Tuesday, noting he was fleeing the approaching hurricane.

Patrone broadcasts his show live from Florida (where he fled because he believes the federal government is after him) but says he can't do the program if the place he's living in has no power - or worse, is no longer standing.

Hurricane Idalia is heading straight for the sunshine state and is expected to hit as a possible Category 3 storm by Wednesday, with the impacts expected to be serious in some parts of Florida - including where Patrone now lives.

So he left his show at 1:40 PM, asking the station to put on a rerun for the next hour and 40 minutes. I'm just surprised he hasn't figured out a way to blame the storm on the government!

He gravitated to the crazy state. Probably feels right at home.

P.S. He's heard of extradition, right? 🙄

He strikes me as the kind of person who wouldn’t believe warnings to evacuate because GUBMINT

Too bad Pat Robertson died.  He could pray the hurricane away.
Oh wait, there are too many homosexuals in Florida who deserve the storm.

perhaps he's broadcasting from a trailer park.  Not that there's anything wrong with trailer parks. LOL

He strikes me as one who would heavily pad his insurance claim.

Speaking of actual radio, fascinating to listen to some of the Tampa stations as this thing comes ashore.

WFLA is the all-news station in the city, and they're going live non-stop.

You can listen here if you'd like to see how radio is once again coming to the rescue in a time of emergency. (The broadcast is also being simulcast on about 10 other stations in and around the area, as the coverage and the storm intensifies.)

For Mr. Patrone, wherever he may be.

Patrone was back on live from Tampa Wednesday, after the hurricane sideswiped that city. He did not blame the bad weather on Joe Biden, but I'm sure he was thinking it!

You're being generous, RA. For a very long time, I've questioned whether these conspiracy theorists are capable of anything approaching thought.

The way I look at it with the hurricane, one big wind meets another!

Patrone is on the move! He says he's going to "try" doing his show from London, England for the next two months, as his wife recovers from some medical issues. (He leaves Monday.)

Question: what is he doing in Florida while his ailing spouse is living way over the pond?  A strange, strange man.

Another question: what happens if for whatever reason he's unable to do his program from there? Is it off the air for two months? Will anyone notice?
