Well, at least there's one Canadian show that won't be on the CW. NBC has confirmed it's taking Transplant back into its fold, acquiring not one but two more seasons of the show. It won't be back on the Peacock network until mid-season, and will pick up with season 3.
The fourth year of the series will be shot here in the spring, and it looks like NBC isn't taking chances with the writers' strike, and will be including the upcoming episodes in the package they purchased.
It hasn't been on NBC since the pandemic-shortened season in 2022.

And CW may end up having more prime time cancon than CTV, City and Global combined. Only CBC has more.

NBC has re-scheduled the start of Transplant season 3 to October 12th at 9 PM, in order to give the network more time to promote one of its few new series. It hasn't even aired the third year yet, but strike or no strike, it's already given the green light to season 4, as well, although without a specific airdate.
