I don't know if any of her claims are true or not, but this embarrassing headline couldn't come at worse time for "Bell Let's Talk Day,"
Radio host says Bell Media station fired her for mental health issues
Well...if anyone has ever doubted that all of this hoop-law and 'foofaraw' which Bell leans on as heavily as it does is all for show, completely insincere and entirely hypocritical here ya go. The bottom line is all that matters and goodwill is something to be acquired, if possible, using smoke, mirrors, hats and rabbits.
Oops. Wrong hat. That trick never works Bellwinkle. You can fool some of the people... ... ...

I would be more impressed with their efforts if it wasn't constantly labelled BELL Let's Talk Day. Not "Let's Talk Day," but Bell has to be included each and every time it's mentioned, with its logo plastered over everything. True charity is one that doesn't claim credit. While I'm sure it's an excellent cause, the corporate shilling has always annoyed me and frankly, lessens the impact. Would they do it if their name wasn't associated with it? I wonder...
Or am I being unfair?

Yeah. Do away with the event. No promo for Bell. Let those of us with true mental health issues suffer so the typical anti-corporate vitriol be calmed. I don't give a tinkers damn where the donation comes from. Thank you to Bell and its contributors for helping this worthy cause.
Now, cue the usual diatribes of hatred......
