She started off in Hamilton playing spots in broadcast sporting events and eventually became one of the morning show co-hosts on 105.7 Move FM in St Catharines. Now she's on the Move again - this time, into retirement, after a 32-year on-air career.
"She worked part time at CHML AM900 in Hamilton to help pay the rent. Her only job was to play the commercials during Blue Jays and Maple Leafs games.
“Then I started asking the boss if I could at least do the weather forecast.”
He gave her the gig, which led to an afternoon fill-in spot on the rock station Y95 doing traffic reports. She was comfortable on air, and was soon offered the afternoon show with Scott Thompson."
Her final show is on August 4th.

Her replacement is Melani Mariani West. Most recently on Indie 88 in Toronto, and previously morning co-host the 102.1 The Edge in Toronto with Fearless Fred and Rick Campanelli.
She starts August 14th.
