Thanks for posting. I live in London but didn't grow up here. In fact, I was in my twenties the first time I ever set foot in the town when I came here on business for three days.
Coming from the bush up on the Bruce Peninsula, London seemed to me then like a big city. It never entered my mind that I might some day live here.
What impressed me was that London had 4 radio stations. Three AM and one FM. Any city with more than one radio station was big league.
It wasn't until 1996 that we moved here. I had a job offer I couldn't refuse. Initially the job was to be in Toronto, but at the last minute they decided to fill a vacancy in London instead.
I had hoped to go back up north when I retired. But I could never get my wife to leave here now.
