Canada's Walk Of Fame Honours Music With The Rock Of Fame In September
Canada's Walk of Fame will have two separate ceremonies this year. This is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the popular tourist attraction on King and Simcoe's theatre district. Currently there are 207 stars that acknowledge and celebrate achievements of Canadians from various professions and walks of life.
Many of countries popular musical artists and performers already have stars on the Walk of Fame. However this year in celebration of the anniversary the non profit organization wanted to focus on music and include 13 additional performers. Artists to be honoured in September include Rough Trade, Platinum Blonde, Michel Pagliaro, Trooper, Glass Tiger, Loverboy and others..
