    Ricardo Veneza is moving back to Windsor

    He worked at CHWI as a reporter and in 2021 he moved to CKCO in Kitchener/Waterloo. It was announced today that he would be moving back to Windsor-Essex to rejoin the CTV Windsor team.

    Ricardo did a good job as a reporter and anchor.  Doesn't seem like he has been here 2 years.  CTV Kitchener currently has a reasonably good on air staff.  Most can actually read without stumbling.  Nice to see that the crew on the news team are also friends and socialize beyond work.

    I'm glad to hear Kitchener is doing so well. Let's hope that continues if Bell gets its request to cut back on its news commitments.

    Yeah there were some funny moments with the on air team. Usually at the end of a noon, 5 and 6 newscasts. You don't see that on CTV London anymore.

    It looks like Sijia Liu has joined the CTV Kitchener team as a reporter and weekend anchor. So will Amandalina Letterio take over the weekend news for London and Windsor? On the CTV Windsor site they removed the CTV News Weekends section which hints that the regional news might be done out of London? We will have to see.

    Ricardo anchored the CTV Windsor news at 6pm Saturday evening.  London was a separate newscast with anchor Amandalina Letterio.

    Amandalina is very good. Just like Sijia Liu was. Remember Kelda Yuen? She was very good too. Also Adrienne South she was good too. She filled in for Reta Ismail when she was on maternity leave. They had Sanjay Maru on there a couple of times. He is great too.
