A new video game offers a fun Talk Radio simulation, placing you behind the mic at KFAM in the 80s where you host a late-night call-in show complete with vinyl records and tape cassettes. The story has a clever premise; disaster hits the town, knocking out emergency services. You and your producer Peggy are asked to take over 911, the thinking being that talk radio skills can be used to help calm and problem solve emergency situations. The disaster that has hit the town? A serial killer is terrorizing the town, chasing after your callers one by one in sequences that give a nod to 80’s slasher films. Killer Frequency is a game for all systems including a fun virtual reality edition for Quest headsets. Here’s my quick review
And the website.
