    I find this interesting in a late night Coast To Coast radio show kind of way.

    Is it feasible? Idiotic?

    At my workplace back in 2000, we experimented with satellite delivered Internet,  It wasn't bad.  At the time, FTP service and throughput was poor, though that likely has been ironed out.
