Here's how the BBC explains Canada's media landscape to its readers.
The BBC's "Canada Media Guide"
They have a ton of these for almost every country in the world, going on for pages and pages. Among the more esoteric: the North Macedonia Media Guide, the Solomon Islands Media Guide and something called The Puntland Media Guide. That's a place near Somalia and no, I have to confess I've never heard of it either.

It’s a bit out of date. Global isn’t even mentioned alongside CTV and TVA, and they mention CBC Radio Two, which hasn’t been called that in quite some time.
