NOT SO SMOOTH Blundering radio station worker accidentally posts ‘I’m f***ed mate’ message on Smooth North East’s Twitter page instead of their own
A BLUNDERING radio host accidentally posted a message saying “I’m f***ed mate” on Smooth North East station’s Twitter page instead of their own.
The tweet, which was posted at 11.30pm last night from the branded account, but has since been deleted, said: “I’m f***ed mate. No more drinks for me”.
A screengrab of the message was shared by social media user Amanda, who said: “That awkward moment when you’re still signed into your work account and send a public tweet instead of a DM.”
It’s not clear whether Amanda, who is believed to work for a social media creative agency, was behind the tweet – posted from the City of London, despite the station being based in Newcastle.
Charly Lester replied to the tweet: “Oh god, someone’s getting fired tomorrow morning!!!!”
