It was June 14th, 1948 when Guelph got its first radio station. CJOY has been on the air there ever since. Over the years, a lot of well known names have gotten their start at the place and at least one - Larry Mellott - is still around. Nice to see they're paying attention to the milestone online, while many other stations ignore their past.
