    Which Station Will Be The First To Use This As Bumper Music?

    I heard the Sanford-Townsend Band's "Smoke From A Distant Fire" used as an intro on Tuesday to a talk segment on the big smoke that's blanketing the Big Smoke. But as this air pollution goes on, I wonder who'll be the first to pull out this one hit wonder oldie, whose 12-second intro is perfect for the topic.

    Here's another suggested bumper tune but for an entirely different story - the next time anything about the Marco Mendicino controversy comes up. The name comes up repeatedly for the first time around 58 seconds. But the best part comes around the fade out just before 2:28.

    What are the odds of having a hit song with that name in it?
