The Best, Worst And Most Common Sports Radio Callers In The World

This echoes a similar piece that ran on SOWNY way back in September, but there are even more of them this time. It's a list of the most common sports talk show callers that any listener to the Fan or TSN 1050 (if there ARE any listeners to that latter station) hear every single day. They were chosen by the producers at a Boston all-sports talk outlet.

In deference to the 'You don't know what you're talking about' guy, there is a high probability that the host really doesn't know what they're talking about on the given topic.

I detest "thank you for taking my call"!! It's a damn phone-in show: that's their mandate.

"So remember Larry...if you see Kaye...tell her to call home...we're really worried.   That's  IF  YOU  SEE  KAYE..." /// beep..beep..beep..beep..beep..beep.........

[as heard on Speak Your Mind...one weeknight all those years ago...circa 1966-67]

John and Brian...you were such naughty boys...but all of us at R.C.I. thought that it was a great 'bit'.  Since then it's all been downhill for talk radio.

So YOUR standard for high quality is someone spelling a profane word? That truly colours all your other postings in a different light.

Take a leak.  I was 14.  It was extremely funny.  Go preach to someone who gives one fleeting shit what you think.
