This morning John Moore presses repeatedly but Kevin Voung dances around avoiding a direct answer again & again & again & again & ..
Kevin Voung comes off as believable as George Santos ..
"Independent MP Kevin Vuong explains to Moore In The Morning whether he was targeted by Chinese election interference. "

And Robert Turner, in his usual prescient way, pointed out on the 7:45 AM Roundtable that this "Chinese plot" would have had to be put in motion at least two years before Vuong even announced he was running for a seat in Parliament. The enemy is pretty sharp at times, but I doubt even they could have predicted something that far in advance!

Turner could be correct however. They may have been targeting the riding as much as the candidate. So to begin two or more years in advance would be possible. Didn't Olivia Chow represent this riding as well?

Still doesn't make sense that they specifically targeted him. How would anyone know he was going to run for office two-to-three years before he actually decided to do it?
If you want to argue they were targeting the riding fine. But it's clear he thinks they were specifically after him. How would they know he was going to run before he even did? It defies all logic.

Or were they targeting the riding first and whoever wins second. That is the logic.

Again, they specifically went after him in 2018. He didn't decide to run until 2021. The story he's telling isn't about the riding. It's about him, personally.
In addition, not only could they not have been aware he was going to run for office federally, they couldn't have known which riding he would choose to run in when he finally did.
Unless the Chinese government has a time machine, they couldn't possibly have the info on who to go after three years before the election. It's simply not credible. I know you love to disagree with me on all sorts of things, but this really isn't debatable or logical.
The timeline of this jigsaw puzzle doesn't fit, no matter how anyone tries to arrange the pieces. Vuong is looking for a way out, but this isn't it. And the fact that level-headed people like John Moore and Robert Turner, hardly bastions of conservative thought, both think it makes no sense, speaks volumes to me.
