One of the replies in the TSN 1050 tweet mentioned that it's a contract year for O'Dog.
I'm a longtime huge fan of the three amigos and the OverDrive show. In previous seasons Jeff usually leaves the show before the conclusion of the NHL playoffs for a summer hiatus. He's been upfront and blunt about reaching his limit of airtime after months of taking sports although I don't know if that's the case here and he is on leave for another reason.
He's super close to his brother and rest of the family and has talked about his life with a wife and daughters.
He is the straw that stirs the OverDrive drink.
Fans will not be happy if he doesn't eventually return, even if it takes until September.
On a Tuesday afternoon, a big game day for the Leafs, despite the "on leave" announcement, there's lots of solid support for Jeff's future with OverDrive. ⬇️
He's a heck of a broadcaster. I wish him well.

Have to say his disappearance right before Round 2 of the Leafs in the playoffs is, if nothing else, a great moment in bad timing. You'd think they'd want all hands on deck when interest is this high.
