Bell should take note, but won't. I had no end of trouble with their Manila call centre when my phone service went out last fall. Yes, she confirmed that she was in Manila. They refused to restore my service unless I migrated to fibre. When you start getting into technical subtleties, and go off script, they are completely useless. Also, if you're taking too long, they bounce you to a different "department" so that it appears that they have met their service levels. It's absolutely abysmal, and Bell doesn't care, because Mirko gets a bigger bonus.. It's shameful that they are offshoring jobs that should be filled by Canadians.
When I speak to Rogers about my cable TV services, I get someone whose first language is English, and is in Kitchener.

Called Shaw Customer Svc yesterday, After 45 minutes on hold, while they told me several times they were now part of Rogers, I got connected to a representative in Belize.
