The Things You Never Knew About CTV Toronto's Main News Anchors

I accdentally stumbled on some bio pages for CTV Toronto's news staff. Most of it was pretty dry, but there were a few nuggets in there that are intriguing - some facts you may have never known about the people you might watch every night.

Michelle Dube: Her bio says she was actually born in Anaheim, California, started her broadcast career in radio at London's CFPL, before switching to TV at CHCH - bringing her back to Hamilton, where she was raised.

Nathan Downer: He used to work at both CHIN and the original Flow, where he hosted a sports talk show. He must have done well, because he eventually became the station's news director. And from 2009-2011, you might have heard his voice in an unfamiliar place - he was the stadium announcer for the Toronto Argos.

Andria Case: She was born in England and is another personality who got her start at CFPL in London. She's the longest serving on-air anchor at the station, having recently celebrated 25 years at CTV Toronto.
