It's mostly because former star Dave Foley isn't interested and as the central character, his involvement would be key. Plus, there are a lot of other cast members who would be hard to lure back. Joe Rogan, for one, isn't likely to give up his lucrative podcast to return. And Andy Dick has long ago proven to be an actor with a lot of personal baggage. And that's just a partial list.

But Foley does admit he's looking into a script that would highlight his old role and his ex-screen love interest Maura Tierney, updating their relationship. No word if it will ever actually get made and he admits a script isn't even written yet.
