Oldest Network Newscast To Be Re-released For 85th Anniversary

CBS Radio' "World News Round-up" is considered North America's oldest continuous newscast, having been on the air every single day of the week since 1938. On March 13th, it celebrates 85 years, which is an incredible milestone.

As part of the celebration, the network has announced it intends to release a podcast of a remastered "Roundup" from 1938. Not sure when it's going online, but it sure would be fascinating to hear a sample of what it sounded like way back then. If I find it (or someone else does) please post the link here.

Apparently it's already online, although not the remastered version. Lots of WWII news as you'd expect.
