This technically isn't about local radio but it does air on local TV. It's the story of a woman who knew she was dying of cancer and added an appearance on the long running game show Jeopardy! to her bucket list, so she could donate her winnings to cancer research. 

She passed away this week, with her episode - taped last August - not scheduled to air until Tuesday. What's of note now is how they will handle this on air and if they'll make any reference to it without spoiling the outcome of the match.
