I have always lamented not being able to get WBBZ-TV, the low power Buffalo-area TV station that carries seven subcarriers on Channel 67, including MeTV. It's simply too weak to hit most of us in the GTA.
But of all the channels on there, the one I always wanted most was called "Decades," with programming dedicated to different years since the beginning of television and a Bill Curtis hosted nightly show highlighting specific events from a specific time period.
But now Decades will soon be no more. I guess you could say time took its toll and the station will be rebranded as "Catchy Comedy" in March, with different themed comedy shows on in different dayparts.
I guess I can't miss a station I never really received, but I loved the idea of "Decades" and will miss the fact it doesn't exist anymore.
So what's on the newcomer?
The details are here.
