CHUM/CHAM 1988 & 1991

I found a set of cassette tapes at garage sale a while back and what attracted me to them was the ancient cassette pictured below. Not my favorite format but the age factor. Unfortunately I was only able to salvage about one minute from CFGM from 1976 but in the same set of tapes I discovered more substantial air checks from CHUM FM 1991 and  CHAM AM from 1988. In fact I did not upload side two of the CHAM tape and it is a continuation of what's on side 1.  CHAM is playing a countdown of all time top country songs and CHUM FM has Ingrid S. playing the top hits of the day.

The CHAM clip features a forum member reading the news.

Clips are at the very bottom of the Radio Miscellany section. Scroll down to the bottom.

Seconded! The CHUM FM clip goes back to about the time that I started listening to radio, 104.5 included, on my own as a child, as opposed to CBC Radio (One) that my dad would tune in, and CHFI or Peterborough's CFMP "FM 101" in my mom's car.

Got a question re the Phantom Of The Opera spot at about the 14:20 mark in the CHUM FM clip... can anybody identify the announcer mentioning the sponsors at the end of the ad? He was the voice of Barrie's CKVR in the early '90s, and in the early 2000s I'd heard him voicing commercials every so often on Classical 96.3.
