On Thursday morning, CFRB morning show technical director Nick Maiorano revealed an interesting side hustle he has when he's not behind the controls at CFRB. When the Jays are playing, he handles some of the technical duties for the visiting team's broadcasters so they can get their play-by-play back to the originating city. 

Not only is that a pretty neat way to earn a little extra money, but he presumably might get to see some of the home games while he's working! Not sure how he manages to get up in time to be there for the morning show if the game goes late. 

Maiorano is also the co-host of "Totally Useless Information," an iHeart podcast that also runs on RB Saturday nights. 

I don't know him, but I love it when the guys and gals behind the scenes occasionally get a little glory. Good for Maiorano for making the most of his opportunities to shine both on and off the air.
