TV's 20 Worst Spinoffs, Ranked

Another fun article from TVLine.com, and it's hard to argue with any of them. Although some of them weren't quite as awful as the site would have you believe. (The fact "Joey" lasted two seasons shows someone was watching it.) 

And of course, some spin-offs are now considered TV classics, including "The Jeffersons," "Good Times," and "Maude," all from parent "All In The Family." So it can work - if you get the right character at the right time. Look at all the Law and Orders, FBIs and CSIs on the networks today. (In fact, Law & Order: SVU has now been on longer than the original mothership - which has just returned to TV!)

Ah, yes. Galactica 1980. That was a piece of work.

There was only one good episode of that spin-off: "The Return of Starbuck," featuring the return of Dirk Benedict in the role. It explained what happened to the character from the original show.

That almost made this debacle worthwhile. But only almost...
