What A Radio Signal From 8.8 Billion Light Yrs. Away Really Means

The scientific world was all agog this week, when scientists in India and Canada received a radio signal from a galaxy 8.8 billion light years from earth - the most distant signal ever received. (Who knew they were all DXers?)

I know they're excited about the discovery, but they're really blowing it all out of proportion because I found out what it really is. It's CFAJ at 1220 in St. Catharines, and guess what? It appears that's when they first started testing and all these years later, nothing's changed!
