Radio Listening In Vehicles Increases From Last Spring

The latest survey from Signal Hill Insights and Radio Connects indicates that radio listening in vehicles and out of home is growing.  In fact radio (AM/FM) is the most popular source for audio listening in Canada.  More details from Broadcast Dialogue..https://broadcastdialogue.com/out-of-home-am-fm-tuning-up-as-more-canadians-return-to-office/

Could there be a connection to the fact that more are returning to the office & spending an hour (minimum), in each direction, in their vehicles, commuting?     (perhaps just a coincidence)

Almost certainly the main cause.

According to the article radio's share of all in car listening increased to 62% last fall compared to the spring at 59%.  In their headline they credit the increase in out of home tuning to Canadians returning to the office. The pie chart breakdown is interesting.
