Armchair PD - Placing Tarzan Dan back into Toronto's jungle.
Where would you put him? I thought Q107 mornings.
Does he still have an appeal for CHR?

That'd work. But if it were going to happen, Corus would have made a nice clean transition from Calgary to Toronto. I'd bet on the next Q morning host being a woman.

Imagine the irony if it turned out to be Jennifer Valentyne.
Even if they offered (which I doubt they will), I don't see that happening. I get the impression from Jennifer's social media posts that she was less than impressed by the way Corus/Q107 handled Derringer's ouster.

Dan would fit right in at Z103.5. Wonder if he would come back to Ontario, or does he prefer life out west. He has lived in Western Canada for quite a while.

Her TIkTok is constant, (i think) paid branding for various companies. I'm sure she and her daughter are banking coins from those. And she's really good at it. Not sure if she really wants to go back to TV or radio. Wait, is she still doing TV work?

May be a good time to point out that my suggestion of Ms. Valentyne was tongue-in-cheek. There's no way I ever thought for a second that she would be the new morning host on Q! Just the irony of it if it were to happen in some alternate universe. (By the way, do they have alternate music formats on the radio in an alternate universe?)

That would surprise me quite a bit. He wouldn't go to 103five when he lost his job in 1995 (when AM 640 went all talk)
so why now? "They don't pay very good..."

Definitely not as many places to go as there were 27 years ago. Nowadays, a jock is likely to take a gig just to stay in the game.
