    Golden Globes Were Ratings Gold For CITY TV

    Shades of City tv from the 70's.  Even though the Golden Globes broadcast was on a 7 second delay, City chose to let the various F-bombs air on Tuesday Night.  The show was a ratings winner as well.  Details from Bill Brioux at

    And yet it was seen as a bit of a ratings disappointment for NBC.

    Peacock was alright with the language but NBC apparently tried to bleep out the swearing and wasn't always successful. Maybe when Peacock's numbers are added in the ratings will be closer to normal.  Also this was the first time the Golden Globes aired on a Monday.  Before they had a good lead in on Sunday from NFL football.
