Outside of "Canada's Got Talent" and "Hudson and Rex," Rogers doesn't produce a lot of home grown Canadian shows for its City TV. But beginning in January, there will be another one. It's called "Wong & Winchester" and will air after "Hudson" in the New Year.
Here's the logline:
"[It's] a female-driven buddy detective procedural which follows Marissa Wong (played by Grace Lynn Kung), a bitter ex-cop turned private investigator, and Sarah Winchester (played by Sofia Banzhaf), a former career student with ambitious naivety, who form an unlikely partnership."
Unlike Hudson, which takes place in Newfoundland, it's shot in Montreal and will air Tuesday nights, following the dog-based detective show. It debuts Jan. 17th.
