Re: Sesame Street's Bob McGrath Has Died

The actor who played Luis died earlier this year.

Two of the mainstays of my childhood.

Re: Sesame Street's Bob McGrath Has Died

Thanks to a post here on SOWNY several years ago, I discovered that Mr McGrath was already a popular and well-respected tenor before Sesame Street.  Here he is on Mitch Miller

May he rest in peace.

Re: Sesame Street's Bob McGrath Has Died

I also learned from some of the Canadian news coverage that Bob was a frequent musical guest on several annual telethons, including the Variety telethon on BCTV and Telemiracle on CTV Saskatchewan.
