It's one of the oldest continuous shows on CBC-TV (63 years and counting) and while it will go on, its long-time front man will not. We already knew David Suzuki would be retiring from The Nature of Things in 2023 after four decades. What we didn't know was who would be taking his place.

Turns out there are two people and one is very close to the outgoing host. 

Sarika Cullis-Suzuki is David Suzuki's daughter, a scientist and a marine biologist. Anthony Morgan is no slouch either - he's a molecular scientist. The show, the last series with Suzuki the elder on screen, returns in January.
 
CBC’s ‘The Nature of Things’ Names New Hosts
