Jeff Allan was a regular on 570 News for many years until he lost his job in a series of cutbacks. His was a life of both terrific triumph and sad losses and it ended when he passed away in July.

I am saddened to see this. I use to drive a big truck for a cartage company , the route being Grey and Bruce counties where 570am boomed in all day. I listened to Jeff and then Gary Doyle who followed him, altho I wasn't really familiar with the K-W area per say, it was more the style these gentleman used while performing on air. Pleasant , and gave callers time to speak their piece without interruption. I recall Jeff saying he was the voice of " The Champ " on the Jake Edwards morning show on Q107 back at that time before landing at 570. RIP Jeff. I did see recently here that Gary Doyle is working on air again but I don't remember where. Congrats to him.
