Nik Rivers has been both a programmer and a jock for years. But not anymore. He was doing afternoon drive at WBUF, when he was unceremoniously let go by Townsquare Media this week. How do you fire your afternoon jock with so little notice? He was also their brand director, and is still listed as such on their website. 

Rivers had been only been working at WBUF since 2021, but spent seven years at rival WLKK-FM before that.
