Not meaning to harp on this, but in a very, very strange twist of fate, a MeTV article notes that the original voice of Jane Jetson - who only played her for one single episode before being replaced - was comedienne Pat Carroll. 

Carroll passed away Saturday, one day before the suspected date of George Jetson's birth. She was 95 and appeared in scores of TV shows and movies over the years, perhaps best known to modern generations as Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

The timing is truly bizarre.
