CKPC-FM HD4
I just discovered that CKPC-FM (92.1) is broadcasting CFMB 1280 Montreal on its HD4 channel. I believe both are owned by Evanov.

So then, is one of the other CKPC HD's carrying AM 530? That would make sense...

The other HD channels are the same as usual, Hot Country and Arise.

Very strange to be using Montreal on HD 4 then, when there's something closer to home that might have better logic @ AM 530.

They could be testing using Montreal or the logic could be because AM530 is already broadcasting in HD, that putting an out of market may serve more languages. Most multi-cultural stations are not as driven to their local market. They tend to be much more focused on the the audiences from set cultures they serve.

Speaking of evanov, whatever they did to 103.5 frequency when they added HD, in general the whole signal in analog has gotten better reception wise.
