This isn't an old-fashioned doubleheader. It is a two admission double dip. The old-fashioned twinbill was a one admission affair, with 20 to 30 minutes between games.

It is also an atypical double-header, insofar as it was on scheduled by MLB prior to the season starting.
All teams have these on their schedules and the Jays have another one in September. It was the only way to play 162 games without extending the regular season into October; due to this year's late start as a result of the lockout. Both of these conditions were required by MLB as part of the labour settlement.
