He was not the original Drummer with Yes. That distinction went to Bill Bruford.

As part of the tremendous cross-pollination Yes did with the greater prog-rock community, Bruford was also the drummer for Genesis on the tour they did for 'Trick of the Tail'.

He was not the original Drummer with Yes. That distinction went to Bill Bruford.

Slightly off-topic sorry.
Bruford's longest tenure with a prog rock group was with Robert Fripp's King Crimson which he joined after his time with Yes. Meanwhile White took over drumming duties with Yes.
