The Toronto Star did an extensive profile of erstwhile auto mogul and radio personality Greg Carrasco on Saturday, with some revelations about the man that are astounding - including the revelations that they once lived in abject poverty and that he and his sister were abandoned by both parents while they were still young kids in South America, and somehow they managed to survive.
The guy can be a bit of a blowhard on the air, but his story is pretty interesting.

He has told this story on his program over the years . As I was always stuck in a tow truck on Saturday mornings the past 12 years, I was a regular listener. The signal for Sauga 960 is very weak here in Collingwood so have only heard sporadic bits since the dial change. I have met Greg in person, I find him a genuine nice guy.
