It's from a U.S. perspective, but anyone who ever got their start in the biz at a campus station probably has pretty good memories of those days. You could learn, make mistakes, have fun and not have some rigid format to adhere to. And in many cases, it was not only commercial free, but you also got to take home some music for yourself - and often, play whatever you wanted. 

This film is in production and still trying to raise funds to get it all made. Whether anyone here will ever be able to see it is another matter, but the 2-and-a-half-minute trailer certainly is intriguing.
